Introduction to ITA HQ

ITA HQ is a Shooting Club that is run from ITA’s head office in Krugersdorp and is affiliated with ITA Shooting Association (ITASA).

Club members meet once a month to participate in a variety of shooting exercises that are designed to challenge shooters at various levels of experience. These exercises are run by qualified and experienced Range Officers as well as ITA-accredited Firearms Instructors.

In addition to club shoot evenings, ITA HQ hosts a casual shoot once a month on a Saturday.

Club members could participate in League Shoots without specific prerequisites. In order to maintain a high standard of skill and safety, all club members interested in League Shoots must complete a Qualification Shoot. This ensures that participants are well-prepared and meet the necessary criteria. ITA HQ is a great place to fine-tune and practice your shooting skills.

ITA HQ Squads

ITA HQ has two skills groups:

  • Formula 1’s
  • Combat Crew

The Formula 1 Squad consists of fast-paced IPSC-oriented shoots while the Combat Crew is focused on combat-style shooting. Club members may attend the club shoots for both groups.

Members are notified of their relevant club shoot dates in advance. Club shoots take place on weeknights and consist of two time slots: 5 pm & 6h30 pm. Members book their slots in advance through an online booking system that is linked to their membership and also keeps track of their shooting scores.
