ITA is the Market Leader in firearm training in South Africa and supplies training material to more than 260 Training Providers countrywide. All training material and training programs are accredited by the quality assurer; the South African Professional Firearm Trainers Council (PFTC) and are compliant with the requirements of the respective unit standards as set out by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA). Training material is written in support of the Firearms Control Act 60 of 2000 and is recognized by the South African Police Services (SAPS).

ITA provides training for Firearms Instructors and Assessors within the firearms training industry. An Instructor and Assessor must have undergone the respective unit standard training with ITA to qualify to make use of the ITA training system and training material.

The ITA training material is written by subject matter experts in the firearms training industry. The training material and assessment tools have been developed by education and communications experts who understand how to share knowledge, information and practical skills with adult learners in a safe and responsible way.

ITA is transformative and developmental in its approach and promotes safety and professionalism in the industry.

I had a wonderful course at ITA, truly a awesome place, thank you to Claudia who assisted with the admin and course booking, she made it a really nice process to go through, and it was super easy, then a big thanks to Alexi and Frans, they were my instructors during the course and made it a pleasure to attend the course, they made it interesting, offered alot of help with questions, and were super friendly, they really made it super easy for me to complete and pass my course, I tip my hat off to them, it is not always easy to put anxious mind at ease with courses like this, but they did it perfectly, they are willing to help the students no matter what, I will definitely be looking into joining the club as they have peaked my interest, thank you to everyone at ITA
